Application Process
Please read carefully all of the information provided in this page before submitting your application.
1. Sessions: There are four sessions a year. Residency sessions are between 6-8 weeks with exhibitions organized in the last month of each session, i.e. March, June, September, and December. If you missed an open call deadline please contact us for information about availability.

2. Selection Criteria: Submissions are juried and selected based on curatorial relevance and feasibility, prioritizing projects that focus on production and dialog. Projects that draw on environmental, historical, cultural or regional contexts are encouraged.
3. Fees: In order to cover program costs, residents are asked to pay a COP 2’700.000 (~ USD $900) program fee. An additional COP $ 300.000 (~ USD $100) per week covers the cost of room and board.
4. Financial Aid Opportunities: Campos offers two kinds of financial assistance:
- Regional Subsidies: Subsidies are available for Latin American, Asian, or African citizens who have maintained continuous residence in one of these three regions over the last three years.
- Work Exchange: Any resident in financial need may request a work-exchange for a partial reduction of program costs.
Once the proposal is accepted, the applicant can request a form in order to calculate the possibility of cost reductions.
5. Application Form: Applicants must complete the Application Form and include the following materials.
- A curriculum vitae;
- A 400 word proposal describing the project that the applicant will develop during their residency at Campos de Gutiérrez;
- A portfolio of selected works or writing samples. We accept a maximum of 6 items per application.
APPLICATION FORM
The jury consists of Andrés Monzón-Aguirre and Évita Yumul, Yu Morishita (ET AL., ETC.) and the Program Coordinator. Occasionally, there may be a guest juror.
